              new releases - add date

Having these links persistent, as well as adding to the list as needed, is a good idea. Pehaps you could also add a date at the beginning of each one that shows when it was last 'refreshed' or added. This would make it easier to determine at a glance whether a person would need to update their software or downloaded a manual.

I need a copy of portal 2.1.8 ASAP due to backwards compatibility issues. Where do I get it?

Portal 2.1.8 was never officially released and would have been only offered has a beta release. What specific backwards compatibility issue are you having?

That usually indicates an interruption while downloading the file. Try using a download manager to download the file.

                        Mac

I've tried downloading 'Portal-Mac-2.2.31.zip' several times now over a few weeks. Each time I get an error "Unable to unarchive "Portal-Mac-2.2.31-1.zip" into "Downloads". (Error 1 - Operation not permitted)."

I have downloaded and unzipped a lot of other files on my Mac before. Any idea on why this is happening?

I assume this software is for a Mac, but I could be wrong, it's not really clear what it is.

Got this working on my Mac, but had to download the zip using Safari instead of Firefox. Very odd, but it worked.
