The Portal 2.4.x release brings about changes to the name of some the SFI files (SNAP Firmware Images).

Instead of generic "SNAP" SFI files, there are now a series called "RF100_SnapV2.4.9.sfi" and "RF100_debug_SnapV2.4.9.sfi".

These files are in fact intended for the initial RF100 version of the RF Engine. In other words, use these files if you have used "SnapV2.x.x.sfi" or "debug_SnapV2.x.x.sfi" in the past

Very shortly, Synapse will release new RF200 and RF300 modules (see more info here: http://www.synapse-wireless.com/index.php?mainID=3&subID=3&type=product&prodID=3 (http://www.synapse-wireless.com/index.php?mainID=3&subID=3&type=product&prodID=3))

Future versions of Portal will include these new .sfi files.

Firmware intended for standalone chip-sets are still available and labeled accordingly (ex. the ATmega128RFA1 is supported with the file ATmega128RFA1_SnapV2.4.9.sfi)
