I don't like the limit of 4 nodes to Portal:(; I can live with it, but I wish it would support say 5 or 6 - "out of the box"

You can also get standard licenses for 12, 24, or 36 nodes, and non-standard licenses for odd amounts (like 100 nodes).
1) I don't know what these cost, I just know they are available
2) We are currently re-evaluating our licensing strategy, I will add your input

I don't need the 12 nodes, but if it supported half the first "standard" license that would make sense - have Portal support 6 instead of only 4, then if you needed more you would step up to the 12.

The Portal included with EK2500 kits now includes a 12 node license instead of a 4 node one.

I purchased the EK2500 kit... When I updated the portal to the latest version I am now down to 6 nodes.. Is there a way to get the full 12 nodes on the latest sw rev.
Thanks

Hi,
@admin:
I'm in the same situation. I just found out that my my nodes went down to just 6 . I think I won't need more than 6 nodes, but it would be nice to have the 12 node limit back (just in case).
Thanks.
Seeing as this thread is still alive, I have filled in the online form asking for license pricing.
Only need the 12 but don't need an EVK2500. :)
How long before I feel someone doesn't love me?

Since Portal is used primarily as a development environment, I assume you have purchased RF Engines and want to do develop scripts for your project. If this is the case, contact me by email at: jim.bell@synapse-wireless.com, I will get you a license.
Thanks for responding Jim.
Yes it is being used for development only at this stage.
Maybe later for onsite troubleshooting during deployment.
Jonathan responded to my web contact form and sorted me out.
Sorry I didn't update thread.

I have also bought the 2500 kit and after upgrading to 2.2.16 I am down to 6 nodes instead of 12 which I need. Can you help me with this and also tell me how to buy additional node licenses if needed.
Thanks - Keith

The message from Portal is harmless (it's just a nag). We will be removing it from Portal completely in the upcoming 2.4 release.
If you were licensed for 12 nodes before, you are still good for 12 nodes, just ignore the message.
