Hi,

I have upgraded my node to 2.2.16 from 2.1 using a SN171 via RS-232

The node can be discovered when plugged into SN161 and connected to Portal through RS-232.

However, when I plugged the node into SN163, Portal cannot see the node through USB, even though it says "A SNAP USB Device was Discovered". If I plug in a 2.1 node Portal can see it fine.

I tried multiple nodes on multiple boards so the problem is not due to defective hardware.

Is there any way to resolve this issue?

If I plug in a 2.1 node Portal can see it fine.

This makes me suspect you have not upgraded your Portal yet.

Upgrade to Portal 2.2 and then use it to upgrade your nodes to 2.2.

If you are in fact already running the latest 2.2 Portal... the other way people usually lock themselves out of a unit is via the NV parameters. Using one of the other nodes as a temporary bridge, check the "DEFAULT UART" NV Parameter. You may have it set to 1 (the RS-232 port) instead of 0 (the USB port.
