I am getting this error message when tried to upload SPY files:
"Server returned a fault exception:[1]<type "exceptions.IOError">: Not a regular file"
in catch (XmlRpcFaultException xmlrpcEx)
SNAPconnect version is 2.1.33
Any ideas why?

In addition, SNAPconnect 2.1.31 works with SPY files, generated by Portal 2.2.29 or 2.2.25.
SNAPconnect 2.1.33 - does not work with SPY files.

This error is indicating that the filename does not resolve to an actual file that can be opened.

I just tested uploading a SPY file using SNAPconnect 2.1.33 and had no problems. Is it not uploading due to the error you mentioned previously?

correct.
I have re-installed 2.1.31 on the same PC which had 2.1.33, and I do not get this error anymore. Its definitely related to 2.1.33.

In 2.1.33 I tested adding a SPY file and uploading it with no problems. Can you verify that when you add the SPY file it shows up in the directory? Also, verify what filename you are requesting to be uploaded since that is the most common way to get the error message you are seeing.

In both cases the same SPY file and location was used. The file exists on the C:\.... drive, its not like we are trying to load it from memory stick which was unplugged.
Our client code has no difference for different SNAPconnect releases.
Anything else to verify?

Can you try this under the debug version we sent you earlier and give us a copy of the output when you try to upload the SPY?
