A feature request for SNAP would be to have instructions to connect external RAM (and even separate instructions for adding FLASH). This would make it simple for instance to add some extra SPI RAM and then instruct SNAP where to find it and how much it is. Then SNAP could transparently increase different buffers. The same applies for FLASH where the end users could then use the built-in SNAP non-volatile instructions for addressing the extra memory totally transparent... Just some ideas...
