The connector for mounting RF Engines "MMS-112-02-T-SV" is listed in the technical manual pdf.
Does anyone have details on / a Digikey part number for the "IDC Connector" on the "SN171 Proto Board"? I can not seem to find it.

SAMTEC SQT-112-01-F-D
is a socket we have used at Synapse.
Digikey has many different parts in stock.
Look at

On the subject - we have a similar issue, but currently are using a surface mount connector to connect the RF Engine to our board.
Can Synapse recommend a surface mount connector that would work in lieu of the through-hole pieces outlined above, or is there some design issue where through-hole is the best/only option? Thanks....

I don't know precisely what you need. Would this work?

D'oh - can't see a pm icon in profiles or in thread (is it time to go to the eye doctor already?).
Perhaps you can contact me directly & I can put you in touch with our engineer. I think one of his concerns is a 12x2 pin header rather than a 12x1. He'd be best to talk to, if you could spare some time.

Strange. Perhaps our forums do not support private messages. *shrugs*
You can contact me directly at greg.luterman@synapse-wireless.com, but it probably makes more sense just to contact your local connector specialist or to page through this PDF yourself: http://tinyurl.com/yhkmpcy
There's a whole lot of 2mm connectors in that one.

Correct, we have that feature turned off.
Users post questions, we post answers, where everyone can see them and take advantage of them.
Private messaging (or emailing individual engineers directly) defeats this goal.
