The RFEdsW.pdf does not appear to show the pin length dimension.
What is this dimension? It would actually be more helpful to know the header manufacturer and part number, or a recommended socket.

I had the same problem. Try Samtec MMS-112-01-T-SV or MMS-112-02-T-SV sockets.

The information you are looking for can be found in the SNAP Hardware Technical Manual which is on the CD that comes with your evaluation kit or can be downloaded from the following thread:

Also, as Vlad Meyer correctly pointed out, those are the parts we recommend.

Sorry, but I must report the connector problem, since this affect your product quality too.
After a few weeks of testing and having random problems with a node connectivity, we think we found the source of the problem - the RFE header and the suggested socket.
This was problem all alone with the factory-made evaluation boards, and now we having problems with our custom made boards for RFE.
Today in the minimum configuration, when we only supply a power to RFE, we have seen this problem. The voltage on outside of RFE pins reads ok, but the unit would not "talk". When we soldered wires directly from a battery to the top side RFE pins - the problem was solved! At least temporary...
I think this problem should require your immediate attention.
