Any chance you would offer a Channel Analyzer applet bundled with a USB SnapStick? Make the software cheap (or as a free download) and make the money on the SnapStick. It could be a valuable tool for Snap network installers who really don't need the other features of Portal.
On another subject, you really ought to consider publishing schematics of your protoboards and such in your evaluation / development kit documentation. Take a hint from Rabbit Semiconductor (http://www.rabbit.com/products/rcm3700/docs.shtml). They publish schematics not only to their development boards, but to their modules, as well. They also include free software for programming their modules in the field or in a production environment (so you don't have to worry about the factory production workers screwing around with your valuable source code).
