Today I realized that I could possibly upload a SNAPPY script into all of my boards that could cause them to not be able to communicate with Portal. For example, lets say I upload datamode1.py into the 111, 163, and 171 board. Now none of the nodes would be able to communicate with Portal, correct? Therefore, I wouldn't be able to change the scripts in any of the boards to allow connectivity to Portal.

If I were to accidentally disable communication with Portal on all of the boards, is there a way to do a hard reset on the boards that would allow them to communicate with Portal again?

If you have uploaded a script that is preventing you to talk to the node than you can erase the SNAPpy script via Portal. This option can be found in the Options menu in Portal and requires physical access to the node.

Specifically it requires access to the second serial port (node restriction) and it cannot be a USB port (current Portal restriction).

Also remember that you can erase scripts over the air. You may want to keep a node in reserve for emergency communications. For example, some people do not put scripts on their bridge nodes at all (they use them only as bridges).
